View melting Mt. Kilimanjaro snow and close free range giant elephants. Characterized by open plains, acacia woodland, swamps and thorny bushland, the park borders Tanzania at the base of Africa most iconic mountain, Mt. Kilimanjaro covering 392 sq.km. The endless water springs flowing from Mt. Kilimanjaro to the heart of the park attracts giant elephants carrying massive tusks ranging to herds of 100. Lions here enjoy relaxing on trees after a successful hunt. For birdwatchers, Amboseli is the place to be from its rich waterfowl’s spoonbills, ducks and geese to scavengers and migratory birds with amazingly over 400 species recorded. Hundreds of Zebras, warthogs, giraffes, gazelles, antelopes and buffalos make the cheetahs, lions, leopards, hyenas and jackals thrive in the eco-system.

The park can be accessed by road via Mombasa road from Nairobi and chartered flight to Airstrips in the park.Best Time To Travel:
Any time all year round. though dry season is best since animals gather together in the few water holes.
